Rule Help?

So when I am 100% ok fine with admitting to being new, I can't seem to find these rules within the rulebook? The things I was wondering were:

1) Can I activate abilities of non-engaged creatures whilst another creature is engaged? As in... Can Ranun heal Blazvatan whilst Blazvatan is engaged in combat with Chaor?
2) Similarly can I activate mugic via un-engaged creatures whilst my other creature is engaged in combat?

yes and good thing you asked that's a very important thing to know. Any creature may activate mugic or abilltys during combat or outside of combat so long as something doesn't say otherwise (like dranikus threshold). so if my maxxor is fighting chaor and not doing so hot I could have my outside of combat vidav use a mugic on him or use his heaing abiltly or whatever. in or out of combat anyone can activate their effects or mugic.
