Well I'll be damned

I had no idea there was still a Chaotic community, much less an active one. Not sure how many people will remember me, but it's good to see my favorite TCG hasn't been forgotten.

I might as well step from the shadows with a bang; I think you'll all appreciate this sexy beast that I randomly found on ebay last year.

I got a second one from the seller as well, but it's flat foil, and the arrangement isn't as aesthetically pleasing. I'm very glad I was able to get ahold of them though.

If you remember Phantasmal from the old days they may have been his. He was a kid with cancer that played here and when chaotic moved to Kodo studios he has asked to visit the facility and talk to people involved with Chaotic as part of his "make a wish" foundation.
They sent him sheets of uncut cards. He passed away a few years ago now, but his family would have had the cards.

I actually asked the guy selling them where he got them, and apparently he was part of the crew that cleaned out the offices when Chaotic went under. He had a bunch of other sheets too, but they were all rare and common/uncommon, though I think he had one super/ultra sheet from Silent Sands left. He's the guy who's been selling the chaotic cards with the square corners on ebay; he's been cutting them from uncut sheets. =_=

What a shame to cut up sheets  I also bought an uncut DoP sheet from ebay and got 1/3 uncut sheet of Aa'une as well. I was happy.

Yeah, and a bit of a fandom on Tumblr too. Slow one, but yeah.
Someone is still playing the game here AT LEAST bi-daily on TCGOnline-so yeah.

Definitely remember you! (although you probably don't remember me) That sheet looks great! I haven't been able to make myself buy anything with the rising prices and the fact I've never had other players around me- nice to see other people pop out of the shadows on here every now and then though

Mhm, I haven't bought any actual cards for quite a while, but I couldn't resist this one, since the odds of coming across another one of these is pretty slim. It wasn't too bad of a price either all things considered, and it's a great display piece.

Aw damn, i remember phantasmal. I HATE to hear about young people having cancer. It is just so frustrating
