    Hive Activation Help

Post by az_cotic on Thu Mar 09, 2017 12:38 pm

Hi, my name is Cotic, and i want understand the Hive abilitie, in several pages i read that Hive last to the end of a turn, but, in others post i see, the hive just On/Off because a Errata.

    For Example: Hive Amber.

My question is, how works Hive? It is last to the end of turn? Is forever unless i or my oponente deactivated?

    Please i need This.

Hive only lasts the turn. The rules state that all abilities end at the end of turn unless otherwise stated. Hive is included, and will end the turn it is activated (or sooner if deactivated).

The reason you may see the ability on every turn is when specific abilities make it so. One Danian activates hive when he's in the discard pile, so as long as he's in the discard, hive is active.

Hope this clears things up Smile

Yeah, Thanks Marrillian! I have one other Quick Question.

I Know the deck is 48 cards for 6vs6.
    6 Creatures, 6 Battlegear, 10 Locations, 20 Attacks, 6 Mugic.

But, in some forums i read say that is 5 locations for each 3 creatures, 10 attacks for each 3 creatures and 1/1 for mugic battlegear... so

    3vs3 = 3 Creatures, 3 Battlegear, 5 Locations, 10 Attack and 3 Mugic?

If that is true how is 1vs1 possible?
What is the Set up to 3vs3 and 1vs1?

    1. 1v1 is also a supported format.
    2. 3v3 and 1v1 games are assembled exactly the same as 6v6 and larger games: both players place their armies in pyramid formations facing each other (in 1v1's case, this will just be both armies of one facing each other).
    3. It is not 5 locations and 10 attacks per 3 creatures. You have 10 locations in your location deck and 20 attack cards totaling no greater than 20 build points, regardless of the size of the game. The only exception is when playing the Limited format.

To expand a bit on what the limited format actually is... It's a format for tournaments where you make a deck after being given a specific number of packs and a starter deck. It tests your ability to make good decks with limited resources. Smile

To make it slightly easier to make a coherent deck it lowers the number of attacks / locations you need.
