Have a Quick Question?

I'm really confused that if chaotic is back, will we need to make new accounts or can we use our current accounts because i spent alot of money on those cards.

Considering it was still in Beta, I'm assuming the answer to that question is gonna be painful.

Pretty sure the server went down.. which means memory is lost. I could be wrong though.

Heres what MIGHT happen is if the game comes back we will have to make new accounts and probably buy new cards since the old ones might not work in the new version of the game sorta like Duel Masters and Kaijudo two different named games based on the same exact card game.

Well, I say that some kind of Revival is better than none.

If (hopefully when) Chaotic does come back, in all likelihood we will need to create brand new account names and will need to purchase a new form of the cards we currently own.

If, and this is a big if, the game is brought back and begins to flourish, I would hope that the owners would allow older players to send in their cards and receive upgraded versions of them. As most people, myself included, have several hundreds of cards sitting around, that might prove to be a bad idea financially.

I'd hate to have to make a new one... I didn't have a ton but I had a lot and a large bit of that lot were great/hard to get.

But there were also players who had uploaded thousands of cards and then thrown them out because they had so many offline.

and then you have me.... only have like 10 cards offline haha

I'd make a new 1 as long as the game wasn't ruined somehow, but the thought of even re-entering half of my collection makes me want to scream. As for if the cards were somehow obsolete, I guess I could handle that. Bit of a bummer, but I still love the art and the memories they bring back, not to mention not having to re-enter would be a blessed thing for me.

@Marrillian: Thankfully I was not one of those people and I still have my entire collection, even the garbage ones, sitting in a box. But that is why I said that it would most likely prove to be a bad idea from a financial point of view.

@ManOfAction: Technically, you could upload just your "good" cards and then all of the extra commons and rares could be given out to help new people or as a potential (although minor) source of income by selling some of your rare-common cards.

Even uploading the good ones would take forever. Just check out my trade shop, there is an entire list of my Supers and up, not to mention all the high-end rares I'd have to re-enter and the various other rarities I'd have to go through for my various decks attacks, locations, and mugic. Add to all that the fact that I like to double check codes before entering and we are looking at a considerable amount of time.

Look guys, re-entering all of our codes would be a pain; however, I rather reenter all my codes then not have a chaotic at all.

Kinda sucks I kept some of my best cards: like my DoP Chaor(max e,c) unuploaded: cause Im guessing there's no difference now.

 I kept 95% of my cards unuploaded and look how happy I am  but unless they give us an unupload option, I'm still going to hoard my codes.

Yeah but you uploaded your good ones. That 95% is all the cards you don't use.

The only good card I uploaded was Tarterk Psi Overloader. Tbh I probably only uploaded 1% of my cards... less than 100 for sure.

I know i uploaded a majority of my cards even the ones i bought in the last few months while the site was still up. Because i had a thought that when the game comes back and some newbs join i can kick their butt with easy because of my Chaor with 75E and some pretty damn good stats to.

I uploaded whatever I wanted to play with lol. I'd say I uploaded about 40% of my collection, just because I didn't really enter the commons/uncommons much.

I uploaded everything in the beginning. I'd get some packs and sit down to upload them 1 by 1, then I got sick of it and basicly stopped entering them altogether, except occasionally when I'd upload 1 to complete a trade or something along those lines.
