    Mugic Empty Mugic

Post by Blitser Sun Dec 08, 2013 6:17 pm

So I've been playing around with some concepts for graphic design that I've been meaning to learn for a long time. To be more specific I've been starting to make art in the style which was used for the game's Mugic. As I make more I'll post them here, so check back every once in a while if you're interested. These are pretty sick!!! How did you do it?

    PS
Added the pictures in for you. Resizing images is glitchy so I have to do some tricks Wink

I just recently discovered the proper term for the style, so I started to research some good programs/techniques for it. If you're interested this is called Fractal art, and there's some really good free programs to do them. To make really fancy stuff you'll need an image editor like Photoshop though. I haven't started exporting to there yet.

Also, thanks for the resize. It's a bit of a pain for me to do since I don't currently have Photoshop, and Mac's have no program to do that pre-installed.

The resizing is actually being down on the website. [img(width, height)]url[img]
But the trick is knowing how to get it to auto generate the height if you input only the width or visa versa.

Hmmm come to think of it, I do remembering hearing about fractal art. Might not have been in relation to Mugic though.

Photoshop is definitely the best program for what it does, it's just really expensive. Frown I've always used it so it's tough for me to go backwards.

Trials, betas, and through other people.

Being part of the beta for CS6 was nice because it meant I had the program for quite a while.
