Most people would agree that the standard format for Chaotic is 6v6. Games are also often played in smaller 3v3 or 1v1 formats and even now in 10v10 formats. However, the game is capable of supporting any pyramidal layout you want to use (15,21,105 ect.) I was wondering if anyone has ever done a match with more than 10 creatures and if you'd like to share your experience.

Here is my own story. Me and my friend were very into the show and had just seen the mega match episode so our own epic battle was inevitable. We had no additional rules other than having 21 mugic, BG and creatures but we were both not good enough to abuse the system so it ended up being a pretty fair match. It was my midpedians vs his underworlders. The match was time consuming wasting a whole afternoon. We took breaks of course, but the match felt tense and epic almost the whole way until the last few battles when I pulled away. All in all it was an amazing time and was just the right twist to make the game interesting.

That sounds awesome but also an endurance test. As for ways to cheat, well, I would think that an army of Fluidmorphers plus M'arrillian Heatcannon sounds scary, doesn't it?

Yeah there are a ton of ways to abuse the format which is why it was only fun back then when I was a casual noob.

Yeah, I remember when Dawn of Perim first came out they had the 10x10 mats, then they shortened it to 6x6 mats. I always tried to figure out a good way to created a 1Vs1Vs1 but instead of 1vs1 it would be like 6vs6vs6.

My brother and I played an all overworld vs all underworld match. It was like 120v120 or something like that. It was kinda funny cuz we wasted all our mugics in like the first 10 battles since we didn't want our maxxors and chaors to die Tongue We actually took turns playing which tribe since it lasted 8 days we each played with a tribe for 4 days so it was kinda weird but cool playing with cards that don't get used much Smile but yea overworlders won by 15 creatures.

"And so went the tales of Perim. Maxxor's battle with Chaor shook the land, their armies crashing into each other like endless waves. In the end, Chaor tried to use a Canon of Casualty to defeat his sworn enemy. His smile fell as the notes of Refrain of Denial rang true, Najarin's last Mugicians being used in defense of his leader. Taking his chance, Maxxor finally ended Chaor with a massive Sunder Ground, sending the red creature to depths below the Underworld"

If I were to do a match larger than 10v10 I would probably end up bending the rules to have multiple location and attack decks (the same 10/20 cards respectively would get boring after a while). Did you have any changed rules? Or did you play vanilla 120v120?
