Chaotic live?

Afjak and I discussed the possibility of this idea a couple months ago. Basically stream chaotic matches live on twitch while a group of us talk about the game or chaotic in general and stuff. we could also sometimes stream other TCG or stuff. there isn't any way to watch chaotic matches live right now and I think this would be fun to do. I recently installed a basic twitch setup that should be usable to stream matches. The only question is who would be interested? I'm not sure how often I would do this depends on the interest but about once or twice a month seems reasonable for this group let me know what you think bellow if this would be something you'd like to be a part of.

I believe you could even do it on Twitch. I think Twitch has something that'll allow you to keep broadcasts on the channel after it ends. I'm just saying that I'll watch it after it uploads so while I won't be able to participate in the actual stream I'll make sure to watch it afterwards.

Yeah, if you stream + record you'll hit the largest target audience. people like twitch because you can have real time conversations with watchers.

I've learned that talk is cheap especially on this site so what the heck I'm doing this. this Friday the 4th @ 7:00PM central US time I will be playing 1 or 2 chaotic matches live on my twitch http://www.twitch.tv/chiodosin1 . hopefully we can get a decent turnout and chat about chaotic live. my mic is being finicky right now so I may not have audio we'll see (its pretty cheap so that's what I get)  but I will of course be chatting along with you guys as I play. so come on down and see a rare live chaotic match even if the card games not your thing just come for the chat. if you want to be the lucky one (or two) to face me be sure to be there as I will pick from those who show up. The recording of the match will be available on twitch after and I'll probably also stick in on Youtube but again without a mic there won't be much commentary . see you all in the dromes

haha yeah life gets in the way I feel you not the best mostly me thrashing afjak lol he brought mostly gimic decks oh well. but I'm gonna put the matches up on YT (ill put a link once I put them up) I figured everything out basically and I should be able to do this any weekend in the future with little effort so You guys will all get another chance to catch it

that is my channel they are the only videos up there. the audio is pretty bad because I had to use my webcam mike but at least it's something. I'm buying a new mike soonish check it out if you want and I hope to get more up in the future

when I streamed last time the turnout was less than ideal so I was wondering what start times people would most likely be able to show up.(central US time) streams will be Friday or Saturday nights when I do them.

alrighty just figured out I'm free again this Friday (the 11th) evening so I think I'm gonna try to do another stream cause why not. based on that helpful pole I think I'm gonna try to start about 8:00pm Central time for now and try to go till midnight or so that should be enough time for 3-4 matches and hopefully everyone will be able to pop in for a least a little while I'll of course put up the matchs on youtube by the 13th or so. If you want to be one of my opponents for the stream all you need to do is show up I play all types of matches serious or casual.

Yeah, I can come to any of the times and I'll probably stay around.
I'm not the most competitive player and I don't have any decks I particularly care to use, so I probably wouldn't be the best opponent. But I'll do in a pinch. I'll try and stick it out through it all.

yeah just show up and watch then hopefully you'll learn something and you don't have to stay for the whole thing I'm just trying to give everyone a chance to watch

welp I've decieded that chaotic live is not gonna happen anymore I will probably instead just put out non-live matchs in a simaler format to speedplayera because basically no one was at either of my streams and doing youtube videos is requires less planing I guess... I took a shot in the dark with this thing it was an idea me and afjak had. I figured I'd give it a try and again not enough turn out and chaotic matches aren't super action packed so you need people to chat with to keep you engaged. so as of now I won't be using my twitch anymore for streaming. If I ever do another tourney or something of the sorts I might stream that but regular matchs will be YT only. I'm always open to challanges from anyone who's up for a match (just give me some advanced warning haha) and if its a good/intresting one Ill put it up on youtube

this is probably the last thing I'll post on this on this feed, sorry but I just have a couple last things to say

1. I finally uploaded the matches from the secound stream to YT and from now on I will be putting matches up there every so often as well as possibly deck building/card discussion videos I know much more about the TCG then the show/universes lore so expect mostly that but you never know I may dabble.

2. I may still be seen "streaming" on twitch go ahead and ignore that I won't ever be doing anything interesting. Its safe to unfollow me I won't be doing anything often without a big anouncement

Honestly, I'd suggest that you just set up a stream whenever you're going to play the game. If anyone catches the stream then so be it. It's tough for everyone to plan around these things.

I could do that... I just figured the post recording was a better format for youtube since matches usually take about an hour while post recorded commentary videos are about 1/2 as long and more "instant action" the type of commentary I give is obviously a little different for each but I figured people would want to get right into the action and see a shorter video.

You can do everything as you already planned, and just throw up a stream at the same time. If people join it then great, but if not then no big deal.
