So i'm big into music and stuff so I decided I wanted to translate mugic to music note we can understand. In case you are not aware every mugic card in chaotic has 7 "notes" indicated by squiggles that show how the mugic sounds. I'm going to assume that if you are know at least something about musical notes like for example you know that G# not hashtag G in reverse. first off it was obvious that there were 7 types of squiggles being used we use the seven letter A-G for are notes so It was obvious each squiggle equals one note. The mugic canon of casualty made a great key since it has the 6 of the seven notes I needed. so I watched the show episode "fire fighters and listened to find which notes are which and here is what I have
A= the 6th symbol on the canon of causalty card looks like a fancy backwards F
B= the 5th symbol on the canon of causalty card looks like a backwards R
C= the 1st symbol on the notes of neverwhere card looks like a simple loop
D= the 3rd symbol on the canon of casualty card looks like wavey zig zag
E= the 1st symbol of canon of casualty looks like vertical squiggle with little curly at the bottom
F= the 2nd symbol on canon of caualty looks like a big arch with a little arch under it
G= the 4th symbol on canon of casualty looks like a squiggle with a diagonal slash through it
next up is accents (sharps and flats) if a note has a wavey line above it its a sharp if it has a wavey line bellow it it's a flat
Ex. the first note of canon of casuatily is the E symbol but it has a wavey line under it so is an E flat.
next the dots just before each note indicate the notes length with each dot being worth half a beat
Ex.the first note of cannon of casualty has 2 dots next to it so it last 1 beat A.K.A the length of a quarter note
the one problem is that there is no octave indicator for these note Ex. the last note of canon of causalty is one octave (8 notes) higher than the canons 3rd note but there is no way to tell that by just looking at the card
to finish off the example i'm going to fully list cannon of cauasltys notes
1. a E flat quarter note
2.a F quarter note
3. a D quarter note (this is the lowest note all others are above it)
4. a G quarter note
5. a B flat quarter note
6.a A 8th note
7.a D half note (one octave higher than 3)
so there you have it if you ever wanted to know what a mugic sounds like now you can (almost, stupid octaves)
