He's a fluidmorph though... Weird because apparently he controlled five creatures to open the door in his personal lore and in the show he brainwashed Bloot Khybon and Chaor's guards and in a drome match caused Tom's Thonder to destroy himself.

well his relocate ability is flavored as mind manipulation I think, but yeah it was weird that they gave him those powers shrug
