This is a deck that highlights Maxxor Protector of Perim. Your goal is to sustain him during combat to maximize your returned damage. Tarterek Psi Overloader is very similar to Maxxor in attack compatibility, and make it a perfect fit in this deck.

Substitutions
You have a lot of flexibility with the Mugic in this deck. With all the Mugic counters and Najarin High Muge you can include more high cost mugic than usual. I recommend to have 2-3 negates though.
I like running Phoenix Belt on Tarterek because your main fighter is Maxxor. Having the extra damage lets you offset the amount of 0s you might otherwise end up with. The other option is to use Drilldozers.
I like running Grounding Grapple because I find it provides huge advantage. You can stack your location deck and take away your opponent's location advantage. (Two of your strongest locations to fish for are Kiru City Tunnels and Silchaw's Mine). You could use Tectostrike instead.
You can substitute Drabe for Garv w/ Hornsabre or Girgeth Tar. If you do, trade out Surprising Riffs.
