Synaptic Acceleration allows you to cycle your attack deck faster, don't be afraid to throw out 1bps if you have to (Outfreeze, Eidolon Advance) for Meditative Leap. But generally you'll discard the Burning Rain or Fluid Flames.
If you defend with Lomma, you can usually afford to user her ability rather than saving counters for the Refrain of Denial. Tuning Fork can let you play it later, or you can use Inner Flood to give Arrthoa/Rellim the extra counter to play.
Because you start the game with a lot of counters, you can survive burn onslaught using Carnivores' Keening, Interlude of Interruption and Refrain of Denial. You might want to save the Refrain for Battlegear Destruction if none of your Creatures are in danger.
