Boosters at my local Toys R us

At my local Toys R us, they have just started selling Chaotic booster packs for 50 cents each.
  

Thoughts?

Either a shipping company found some old stock or another store sold em' to your Toys R Us. :\

What types of packs are they?

Only 50 cents?  I know it's a dead game and all.... but that sounds like a good price for a collection.

50 cents is not bad, but buying large batches could be cheaper hmm anyway I would have thought all packs gone at least two years ago lol

At least these packs are being sold cheaply instead of being destroyed. I'm sure many nostalgic Chaotic players are in appreciation of this.

Just to reconfirm, that rumour which started on the original forums about F&S onward being destroyed wasn't true.

I can't comment on what's happened with older stock since that's up to shipping companies, but I also don't know if you were actually relating this to that old rumour.

I highly doubt that companies would destroy cards. They just need to take one look at ebay to see that they have a chance to at least cover the cost of the cards (wholesale).

Not sure if they would take the time to actually do that.

I have yet to find the box but so far it's rise of the Ogliarch and Dawn of Perim- Secrets.

where is this store? Canada or USA?

Oligarch is cool. I tried to buy cases but they stopped the transaction. Really made me mad because they still had them in stock they just didn't want to sell them to me.
But anyway. I'm curious as to where this is as well.

I found 4 chaotic tins at london drugs a while ago but they are all out of stock. I was thinking if the store is in Canada, then i can buy even more cards.

I bought all the Chaotic cards at my Toys R Us a looong time ago. I think they were at the same price when I cleared their stock actually.

Curse my luck to only pull one ultra in over 70 packs though.

Must just be certain Canadian Toys R Us. I recently went to one here in the USA and asked about Chaotic cards. The employees did not even know what Chaotic was, so I told them it was an oldish TCG and I asked if they had any discount cards. They proceeded to scoff at my questions and told me that they never have anything on sale or discount, and everything will always be expensive. It was disappointing, but I did appreciate their straightforward honesty.  

lol Giga, I got the same response when i went to local London Drugs store to buy tins(There were some avaliable though). They said that nothing is on sale here, everything is original price. U take it or leave!   That guy was straight up the sh*itiest person I've met till date but then again, he was straightforward.
