Chaotic 3D art

A little while ago, I mentioned in some topic that I've been working on some 3D models of things from Chaotic, so I figured I ought to actually show you guys some of it. I'm trying to expand my modeling repertoire by doing this (with varying degrees of success ).  I have a few models in varying stages of completion right now, some of which have been sitting around for a remarkably long time, but for now I'll start with something simple like this one:

At some point I realized that the Mugic design from the TV show was actually a fairly simple 3D model, so I decided to try to recreate it. I couldn't quite achieve the exact same texture or transparency, but I think this is reasonably close. I might make an attempt at getting a few of these 3D printed at some point in the future...

At first I was just working off of the card art, which was difficult because it's kind of hard to see the actual design underneath the shield itself.  But later I was rewatching some of the older episodes of the show, and I realized that it actually got used at one point (I don't remember which episode it was now, but still)!  That made it a lot easier to model the thing - turns out that my scaling on the handle was actually way shorter than it was supposed to be.  The TV show's design was also different from the card in a few ways, so I ended up picking and choosing a few elements from both.

The Aqua Shield was awesome, should have been used more.

I'd of used it but it got outclassed by a lot of things.
