Kolmo in the intro

A few wikis (including myself until I rewatched an episode today) show in the season 2 intro, Kolmo (Or at least, who PROBABLY is Kolmo) is being assimilated via Infectious Melody-which makes sense, considering he's pinned down and all against the pillar. Though his appearance bothered me.
But after rewatching it, it most definently seems like he has 4 arms, and I'd doubt they'd be unnassimlating him, since Hammerdoom is clearly assimilated in Season 3-unless it has something to do with a frame of time punishment. Though I doubt this, considering how Kolmo is the only one with an purified form in the cards.
I know since it's the freaking intro, but I'm thinking of what could possibly be going on, and can't seem to think of anything.

I did not notice that. It's a good catch. As to what it is, perhaps she's improving him, he hasn't fully assimilated, or we are looking at it wrong and what's happening is that they are trying to free him from a Paral-Eyes or something

Would have to be a Song of Stasis, then, unless it was somehow boosted. Hammerdoom got hit with (his own) Paral-eyes in Colluseum Showdown, and wore off after a few seconds.

Well, Hammerdoom wouldn't have won the speed challenge and he has more energy than Kolmo.

Alternatively, it was some sort of webbing attack to get him stuck to the wall, ala Spyder
