Has anyone else noticed?

that X is blue and Y red? could this have something to do with the original Pokemon games? maybe it does...

My doubt levels are around 100%.

I think the X and Y could stand for chromosomes.

X and Y. Those are basically opposites. That's the theme of all pokemon games. It's Black and White, Diamond and Pearl, Blue and Red, and then there's always the tri-fold game that comes out later. Blue Red and Green, Diamond Pearl and whatever it was that had Giratina, Black and White didn't have one, mainly because Pokémon Gray just sounds lame. X and Y will probably have Z as a trifold game. Theoritically, all pokemon worlds are together on two side. And the extra game, the "Z" in X and Y, is what the worlds would be if they merged. Or at least, that's what I think.

X and Y are commonly used in math, where X represents a horizontal axis, and Y represents a vertical axis.

They are used in more than just graphs, and in each case they do not overlap. Opposite? eh, there's a better word for it Im sure.

I'm referring to the color of X and Y and the original pokemon games. if they make a Z and it's green, then it will be nostalgia any other color, not really. the fact of opposites in the title has been around in every pokemon game.

X and Y represent the axis and how they are used. They also represent things like horizontal and vertical. They aren't exact opposites, they are recognized as countermeasures.

Are Pokemon contests no longer included in the games? I haven't played the latest games so I have no idea. They no longer included them in the anime, so I assume they have been removed but just making sure.

And yes, I have watched the Black and White anime episodes and they were okay. Not as good as the "Brock" seasons, but acceptable.

I think X and Y are going to be the best Pokemon games that they have released. The new pokemon revealed look really cool and they are adding so much more to the games.

I'm a huge Pokemon buff, even more so than I am for Yugioh (Game wise, I don't play the Pokemon TCG anymore) and you know how much I put into Yugioh lol.

You don't care that digimon snuck into the game?

Pokemon and Digimon where always compared to each other due to their namesake and just how similar they always have been. I see no problem with Mega Evolutions and I think they are really cool. The more and more the two of them evolve they are eventually going to get closer and closer just due to their nature.

With Zygarde being Green, I may be conspiring more.
