Precursor: Wise Guys describes an archetype based around [[Aivenna]] and Wisdom attacks, generally accompanied by whatever support creatures best suit [[Aivenna]]. Before the existence of a banlist; Due to Overworld's plethora of Negate Mugic for OTK Combo decks, [[Hune Paltanin]]'s Effectiveness neutralizing burn and the extra gain provided by [[Najarin, Fluidmorpher's Foe]] Wise Guys was still a top deck, opting out of the large amount of gain from [[Drabe]] and should still perform at a Top Tier with both players having access to banned cards assuming the proper substitutes are made in each list.

[[Evergreen Tunic]] instead of [[Xerium Armor]] better when you know your opponent is running consistent low damage attacks and you'll be getting less value out of [[Xerium Armor]]
[[Marksman's Preparation]] instead of [[Carniwin]] better in the longrun, more clunky paired with [[Outfreeze]]
Matchup Niches
Danian Burn: Prioritize saving [[Ikkatosh, the aich king]] from burn damage as the energy he puts out over a game is well worth spending 60 energy in gain on him. Properly utilize [[Outfreeze]] when in combat vs [[Neekwin]], tech cards like [[Carnival of Confusion]] and [[Xerium Armor]] are a must, so long as [[Hune paltanin]] is available this matchup is not difficult to win.
Mipedian Strike: If they use [[Ifjann]]'s expend before combat on their turn; do not respond with gain on the burst as they can simply pass the turn to you and waste your resources with you having no gain. Otherwise use whatever amount of gain before his effect resolves that you think will be necssary- this is easily determined by how many [[Before The Storm]]s they have played during the match
