As been shared with me by Afjak. This post shows the absurdity of Chaotic's (frankly, exploitative) stat system, paired with its ridiculous ultra rare ratio.

    As a warm up, ratios.
The difference between the fraction "one out of twenty four" (1/24) and the ratio "one to twenty four" (1:24) is about a 1.6~% difference. Ratios would be expressing that for every one pack with an ultra, there are twenty four others without. This means it's actually a one out of twenty five chance if you put it in fraction form.
(Chiodo believes that Chaotic themselves never learned how ratios work and they expressed a fraction like this. He might be right.)

This is going to assume an even distribution of rares/supers/ultras regardless of card type, which I know they didn't but still. Also the even distribution of discipline possibilities, which again they probably didn't.

So let's say you wanted to pull a maxed out Najarin FF from Rise of the Oligarch.
It's already a 1/25 chance to pull any ultra. Not a good start. With 10 ultra rare cards in the set, that brings it lower to 1/250 if you wanted to pull specifically Najarin.

Energy varies plus or minus 5. That's a 1/750 chance for a max energy Najarin. Even if you were just settling for the always sought after max energy, that's a .13~% of happening.

So, to get a max energy Najarin, assuming even distribution of cards per rarity, even distribution of stats, and assuming you'd hit it on the last of all probabilities, you'd have to purchase around 769 packs to get this. MSRP being $3.99 USD equates that to $3069.23 plus applicable taxes.

Disciplines vary plus or minus 10. You can divide further by 5 for each discipline maxed out. Max courage? 1/3750. Max power? 1/18750. Max wisdom? 1/93750. Max speed? 1/468750. That's a .000213~% chance.

For a fully maxed out Najarin FF (that's a .000213~% chance of happening) you would have to open 469,484 packs for $1,873,239.44 USD. (Plus taxes and shipping fees.)
