by Have you considered forum games of any sort? I worked as a mod on a card site for a while and their games were a fun way for everyone to be active, be silly, and get up their post count. These included:
Alphabet Game - You would post the name of Chaotic cards in alphabetical order. 1st person might say Aa'une, next person to post might say Before the Storm, third might say Chaor, and so on. After Z the cycle restarts and you try to think of new ones, although old ones work if none come to mind.
First thing that comes to your mind - First person posts something, second person posts whatever first comes to mind after reading the previous post, and the cycle continues.
Poke the person above you with a random object - Its kinda strange, but it is fun and worth a laugh. You just post saying what you poke the person who posted before you with. I've seen everything from pink zebras to pitchforks.
Change one word in the sentence above you - Someone posts an original sentence and the next person to post changes 1 word, and the next does the same, and so on.
Ban the person who posted before you game - You post saying you ban the previous poster for some made up reason. Silly, but rather entertaining.
Mafia - Never really got into Mafia that much but I know alot of forums have them and they're generally well received.
It might be a fun way to promote activity and allow people to get up their post counts.
