PerimCraft

I may possible be hosting a (minecraft) server off of my new computer. So I was wondering if anyone was still interested in PerimCraft. I'll buy the domain and stuff if I get some people.

I'd prob play on it from time to time. I don't play much MC anymore though.

Oh no... I;m missing all the stuff that perimcraft was supposed to be about... Well the jist is that we reconstruct perim in minecraft

I might take part from time to time but I'm pretty busy with another server. Perhaps I'll give you a tour of my stuff at some point.

Make sure you've got Bukkit installed once it's running. You'll need to stick to 1.6.4 for that.

Don't expect this to be up anytime soon, i'm quite busy, and this isn't top priority. I'm just stating this and seeing if there is interest.

They're having a ton of trouble updating Bukkit to 1.7.2 right now. Enough so that there's unlikely to ever be an official release; just dev builds.

Heard about an alternative to Bukkit which acts the exact same way but is supposed to be coded better and works with 1.7.2

It's called Spigot.

Minecraft server is up. I won't be able to make any server side changes to it for about a week (I wasn't able to set up the linux server ) But it is up. So if you guys want to have some fun. Sent you the ip. I'll op both of you because I don't have permissions set up. (I need your usernames though).

I have two plugins. World edit and Biome edit. Great for starters.

So this is how the world is set up: Underworld is under the overworld. It is a superflat world. I have the entire underworld layer with lava for lighting and a glowstone roof. So you can start shaping to your hearts content. For the underworld you can cover up the lave and do what ever you want (you'll have to add lighting like street lamps or something). I'm not really sure how to get around the lighting issue. Feel free to carve or add into the landscape.

For the overworld please add since there is only 16 blocks to carve into (mostly for low lying lakes or whatnot). EX kiru city: make the hill.
World edit is very powerful!! Learn to use it.

Warning: BiomeEdit works. But sometimes you need to exit and reenter the server to see its effects.

I had some issues with Endermen, but typically no.

So do you have the power? Plus I forgot to mention o has also added world guard

Did some stuff today.

Mostly started to create The Passage, but also changed some settings. Mobgriefing is now off, natural mob spawning is off, and losing inventory on death is off.

I added some more mods. Have essentials and group manager. And added the javascript components to world edit.

I reset the world to give more buffer between the OW and UW. Copied over your passage so you can work on that

WHY DOES NO ONE HAVE A COPY OF THE OVERWORLD INTERACTIVE MAP !!!!
There are so many copies of perim protector... that is far less important.
Could blargers get his hands on a copy?????

A map would certainly be nice for a recreation of Perim...

Best we can do is study all the game lore that's left, and watch the show for bits of info on that sort of thing.

Moved to the PerimCraft forum section. Was that just recently added or am I getting forgetful?

Its been here a while. I was leaving it in off topic so that other people could know that a PerimCraft section existed. I'll change that.
