Re: Did illexia change?
It's a misprint that occurred on the gold foil Illexia's. There's a ton of misprinted cards in that set actually. :\

Re: Did illexia change?
Can't be a misprint a lot of the wording has changed and illexia now has activate hive, instead of until end of turn, and ontop of that there is no room for a unique or loyal so it isn't a misprint, they just changed it now 2 ilexia 1 ram and 3 mandiblors up front makes an invincible undying team

The premium packs had tons of misprints. They reworded cards and changed abilities which resulted in a lot of poor oversight.

and because it is technically a newer card, tons of exploits > like when your guy dies you get 2 mugic counters for 2 ilexias then in 2 turns of bierk against underworlders you can rez him back

Re: Did illexia change?
But that's now how Illexia works. Regardless of what the card says, there is an official effect that Illexia has. They do things via errata or some other announcement, but it exists.

Re: Did illexia change?
What's on the card is more or less irrelevant no matter when it was printed. The errata is what you need to check when you need specific wordings.
No true changes were ever made to cards unless they specifically needed to be changed - which happened a grand total of one time. Najarin Fluidmorphers Foe was the culprit since he made an infinite loop if both players were using a copy.
