Runescape

I feel i'd be remiss to not start a runescape thread here when I throw my character stats in my siggy.

I used to play it, but not anymore.  I've got a couple buddies from the original Chaotic forums that were really into it... If they still play then it might be worth my time to start up again.

they've had a ton of really cool content updates over the years, i'm still totally nuts over it.

can never leave..... ;-;

Main reason is I don't have much time between what I spend on other games (I have this large queue of games on steam to still beat even this far after the summer sale lol).

I do enjoy grinding games, so Runescape has always had a pretty strong appeal to me.

Most MMO's have started to ease up on the grinding these days though. :\ How has Runescape fared?

its gotten a touch easier to get xp, but its still mostly grinding, idk why I enjoy it but I do =p

also the quests are like so much better than other mmo's

Runescape is my childhood. I was way too young when i started playing it-I remember in art class, I attempted to recreate Guthix in the form of a puppet.

I still love runescape, and while it's skill spammy (though they fortunatley changed it), I don't play NEARLY as much as I used to. But man, so many memories.

This post is pretty old, but heck, I'll post in it. I can't really get into RS3, but with Old School runescape I'll play it. Also they put in the knew Iron Man mode, where you have to play runescape without trading other players. and Ultimate Iron Man mode, where instead of keeping 3 items on death you lose all your items and you can't bank. I made an Ultimate Iron Man Mode account and my main rs account is Redpilot if anyone wants to add me, I currently have a membership, so I might hop on from time to time. As for RS3, I might play it, but I usually only do the dungeoneering skill with legacy mode activated....
