Question about it's card (and possible story, that's later)

It has an ability to increase non-danian damage on your side by 5. Okay, fine.
But whilst BRAINWASHED, it has an ability that, unless this is a misprint, makes all Creatures on your team do additiontional damage to M'ARILLIANS AND MINIONS.
...How does this make sense?

If it's actually meant to be that, it could perhaps mean Vunhra was a victim of Mind Control when the M'arillian civil war started after Aa'une's defeat? Maybe? Did I miss a word or something?

Interesting theory. Alternatively, the M'arrillians get random abilities when they brainwash and Vunhra is just a case of Neth'uar being unlucky

I feel like it was just a gameplay thing to make M'arr vs M'arr decks more interesting. Of course the hypothesis where the random ability generation just backfired is just as viable.
