The Foxy Arc was real (Davy Back Fight)... I don't remember if the boat was in the manga though... They dragged out that. That was an awful arc... I guess Oda was trying a to go gag? idk what? Worst arc in the series - just didn't fit in at all... I always wished it was only a filler :O

I need to re-read this stuff; I'm getting forgetful in my old age .

There was a filler with Foxy. He was ok as a transition (which is what he was), but the Anime felt really slow when they were moving through it.

You referring to story "filler" or anime filler? Because the anime did draw it out big time, but the manga was bad enough lol

There was a spa resort place where they encountered Foxy a second time. Needlessly to say, I skipped it.

Foxy is my least favorite antagonist... if he comes back, I may just skip the arc, cannon or filler lol

I thought fillers were canon- just very boring canon.

One Piece is usually good about fillers. They're often written by Oda as side stories he couldn't flesh out enough to dedicate a large arc to or were simply cast aside in order to progress the story. This winds up with rushed fillers which can have great characters and abilities that simply aren't developed in the way many viewers would like. With that being said, I believe Foxy was a transition from Skypia, which many people believed to be far to lengthy, and was therefore rushed in order to move on to a new, more exciting area.

But foxy was just so awful... Its cool that Oda writes the filler though.

Since no one actually knows who Lucy is, there's probably a plan to use his image since the real one up and disappeared.

Or is it "number 2" can't actually remember that guys name... Would be sick it it were lol. I wonder if it is a "clone" or just a disguise - would make a difference, since the first one would be DF related.

Lucy wears armour, so a loose disguise and good fighting ability combined with the ability to shout out attacks would be enough.

I wonder if there is an ability to lose fruits of there is one that can extract. Or can the black hole fruit so both? If so black beard can cycle through as many fruits as he wants (since I assume he can't get 3 at a time )!

He took whitebeard's gura gura no mi, so I assume blackbeard's yami yami no mi has that ability.

Has the ability to remove fruits from himself? Because if he can remove fruits from other maybe he can do or to himself.

I don't think he can do it himself- he's effectively the source of the absorption ability, he shouldn't be able to direct it inward.

Would be pretty sweet broken mechanic if it was possible LOL. I also wonder the extent of his ability, like if he can remove and manifest fruits (therefore being able to give stolen fruits to his crew).

By itself, that's a seriously broken ability- he just TOOK the most powerful paramecia type devil fruit and proceeded to use it.

I think that's all he can do- manifesting fruits doesn't work as a power related to his original ability.
