Secrets of the Lost City
Is the Secrets of the Lost City season only 13 episodes long or did 4Kids shut it down before the season ended?

Especially with the spirit warriors or what ever. Heptadd, tangeth toborn, etc. I'm thinking those guys would get new cards that you could flip over like Aa'une.

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
The creatures would have been more powerful than the Maxxor pop and chaor TF as well. I wish they continued it so we can see Tom defeat all the codemasters and become a codemaster.

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
I don't think Tom would've become a codemaster even if the show continued, there are 7 sides to mugic, 7 letters in Chaotic/Cothica (hint: they use the exact same letters) and there are 7 battle dromes with 7 codemasters, I can't see them breaking that rule just for one person unless they kick out one of the other codemasters for Tom to take his/her place
and Doublea, if those guys got new flipable cards then it would be very likely that they need their special talazar to flip them over but Heptadd's Crown would be useless for Heptadd

If one of the codemasters retired, then maybe or even better, all the codemasters retire and new players are chosen to be the new codemasters.

if that happens then I wonder if they'll get new names using the same 7 letters

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
I kind of summed up a lot of what all was going on during the end of the Chaotic series in this post:
https://chaoticbackup.forumotion.com/t394-unanswered-questions
It talks about the Spiritland Creatures, the Lost City, and speculates why it all happened/what is coming next. Feel free to check it out.

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
Max you're missing O
and Blzv I find your wrap ups interesting but there's one big problem with the plot, it was said that M'arrillians were locked up thousands of years ago right? well the past that was traveled to was also thousands of years ago (I could have mixed up my facts because I was sorting my cards while watching the episodes), either M'arrillians live in a totally different world with Doors of the Deepmines being a portal, M'arrillians came into existence after this or they were already locked away which wouldn't make sense because in Phelphor's story, all tribes knew of each other

Did they go back far enough? I'm not sure.
It could also be the case that they just hadn't explored the terrain that the Marrillians occupied back then.

I still dont get it. If they locked the Marrilians up, then where did they lock them into? If it was undergound, they could've easily dug out, If in the waters, then the water would've been connected somewhere to the outside world in which they can swim through.

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
@Cromaxx
You are partially right. Its reasonable to assume that Marrillians lived WITH the other tribes when the Chaotic crew went to the past perim. We can make this assumption based on the fact that Marrillians were LOCKED behind the doors, and because the Tribes were too deluded at the time when the Chaotic crew showed up. When the Marrillians got locked up, the tribes were more straight forward, less grey areas. I also vaguely remember seeing a possible Marrillian out and about in past perim.
Don't think too hard on the Deepmines. It was literally a prison, and Phelphor lied about possession of the Cothica, to make the doors a point of interest for tribesman. If Marrillians had ANY power, they would not have tried to flood the overworld and take siege of it.
edit: @Max
Deepmines were the prison, and it was locked with the power of mugic. No digging your way out of that one. Phelphor was a knowledgeable Marrillian that was forgotten about in ice. Once he was awaken, he knew that he still had his mission to free the Marrillians. This is another reason why the locking away of the Marrillians had to happen after the time at which the crew ported back- because Phelphor knew more than any creatures of that time would have. Although, it all could be related to whatever Najarin knows.

I really wanted to see Past M'arrillians. I thought that'd be cool to get more of.
Also, additional flip cards would have been interesting.

it almost seems like with every new season, the ideas of the last season were thrown away and someone new just wrote everything except for the Codemaster battles

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
Generally the over-arching story with each season was complete. In season one you were introduced to the characters, both Earthly and from Perim. In season two the Marrillians were defeated. It seems like there might be loose ends in the first two seasons because there wasn't too vivid or twisting of a story line. The shows were their own from episode to episode, while keeping one main focus. Anything that wasn't answered, probably wasn't important.
However, the 3rd season(mostly because it ended just before halfway) did have a good bit of questions to be answered.

Re: Secrets of the Lost City
1. Chaotic was not always agree with itselfz.
2. 4kidz was bad at remembering things, and usually did not agrees with itselfz.
3. It could have actually been an ancestor of another Overworlder, or a Character unique on his own. Who knows? Maybe it was a very brave creature that died for his tribe, and Mommark's ancestors passed down the story to Mommark, in which Mommark made a version to honor the person in the story.
CONSPIRACIES.
