I'll see what happens. I don't have too many new characters planned atm, but who knows what will happen.

can i be the protagonist

“I am RulerofChaos.” He paused to chuckle – a deep menacing chuckle. “And you will do as I say.” He waited for King to make an objection, but king, who waits to hear out a person, remained silent.
“I would try to kill you, but you seem to have the favor of the Cothica, or at least those close to the Cothica. That is why I took your form when I destroyed the capitol. On second thought, it would be a complete waste to kill you – you are too powerful to be lost.”
“What do you want?” King was willing to hear his point, not his rambling.
“Are you a fool?! Do you think I am one to be trifled with? I know your dreams and I can fulfill them. Best of all, you won’t have to compromise anything.  I will allow you to behave freely.” King’s eyes were wide open in shock and distrust. “I will not even threaten you. All I prohibit is you leaving and making contact with your world. I will let you decide in your own time. I am not growing any older due to the special properties I have acquired.” King nodded for him to continue. “Your first task will be to resurrect Aa’une. My past dealings with the M’arrillians have,” he paused, “let’s say, put us on unfriendly terms. For their own good, I took down Aa’une; now I will bring him back. Enjoy your friend.”
Chaos consumed himself in fire and vanished. Ornox coughed out blood viciously at first, but eventually stopped; then he rose to his knees.
“Are you alright? He brought you back from the dead… Here take some water. I’ll get you to a doctor in case he didn’t heal you’re wounds. Hopefully the whole Overworld isn’t searching after me because of this morning…”

Does no one want to see how this ends? I can hold out lol

heyooo, I like this so far:) 

King reached Kiru City, parts of it lay in ruin. Guards were rushing to man posts as Underworlders rampaged throughout the streets.
“Docter, I need a doctor!”
“You’re lucky you aren’t hurt. Get some armor on and join the fight, I don’t care if you’re a human.” The soldier threw King a sword. “Kill your friend; it will be worse for him if the Underworlders get him.”
King tied Ornox to his back and picked up a few more swords. “Hold these; this junk breaks fast, so I need a few. We need to fight our way to the Palace. I got something special.”
 
King hacked his way through the streets. Constantly joining  new groups of soldiers as the previous ones were slaughtered or had reached their posts and stopped charging onward. The action was very intense near the palace: stones, water, fires, and all sorts of projectiles and battlegears were flying throughout the air – inflicting huge number of casualties to both sides. King was glad he had picked up a helmet on the way: a flaming bi-mowercycle engine part landed on his head. “Always get the higher-ranking equipment. A foot soldier’s helmet would not have saved me there…” He was especially glad it was a high-ranking officer’s. The impact barely dented it. King cut off the straps holding Ornox “There is no way I’m getting to my room through there… You mind staying here?”
“I feel alright, almost as good as before.”
“You will be exposed greatly as I break my way into the palace…”
“Nothing more than here, but if you insist it is safer here… Like I said, I feel fine.”
“Take these.” King handed him a sword. Surprisingly he had only broken one so far, so he judged he could spare one. “Actually I need that one back – it fits my style better than it would you.” 

Wait...so Ornox doesn't have a sword now? Or did King switch it?

Few more grammatical errors, but I like it- i like it a lot.

King originally gave Ornox a sword, and then switched it for a worse one. So both.

Well gee, that's kinda mean of you:P

Ok, it wasn't worse quality (at least not that I know of), just a worse sword for me. "It fits my style better."

“This will be interesting,” King thought as he developed a plan. King made his way up a flight of stairs to the roof. “I feel like a Ninja Turtle.” Running along building tops in a city does give one that effect. Suddenly a windstrider hovered out of an upcoming alley. “Foot Ninja,” King mumbled. He took an extra-large jump and sliced its driver in half while landing on the windstrider. It swerved around. “I forgot I only had a few days of training on one of these.” Its strange flight pattern toward the palace showed King’s inexperience. A wing caught on fire from some stray Ember Swarm. King steered straight for a palace window. At the last movement, King launched himself off the gear; curling up into a ball to be blasted through the large bedroom window. The windstrider exploded into the ancient stone wall; taking down a fair share of both fighting tribes below. King brushed himself off and picked up the swords he had thrown in before him. Judging from the picture of Intress, Maxxor, and some other creatures King recognized but couldn’t remember their names and the brush and nail filer, he concluded it was Intress’ room. “Oh man, my room is at the other end…” he moaned. He rushed out the door and down the hall. Guards escorting an injured dignitary halted.
“Traitor! Seize him!”
They charged after King.
“Oh no, not now… what are they thinking?”
Maxxor stood in the upcoming room. On the ground lay Chaor. Fire burned in Maxxor’s eyes – a deep hatred directed at him. Then King remembered the imposter Maxxor’s words.
“How dare you come back? First you make us believe you’re our friend, then you march the whole Underworld army straight into our city, then after I destroyed you’re true ally Chaor, you run like the coward you are. But no, you don’t stop there… You come back when we are outnumbered!”
"RulerofChaos!!! You took everything from me!” King’s rage filled the air.
Maxxor rushed at him: a bizarre of attacks was coming at the rate of a machine-gun. King crossed two swords in front of him and braced for impact. The swords parted every attack that would have hit him, but half of them missed and destroyed the years of workmanship that had gone into the luxurious palace. King had nothing to lose, Maxxor was trying to kill him; no, the whole Overworld wanted to kill him.
“Pulmerazation.”
Everything exploded. Maxxor dropped face first to the ground. Blood leaked out of his mouth and created a small puddle on the floor.
“You will pay RulerofChaos,” King muttered as he fell to the ground exhausted.

Opes, looks like there's a short "bonus" ending. Looks like you'll have to wait for the conclusion tomorrow! I need to finish this story before it becomes relevant. :O Spoiler? You'll have to wait and see.

Well that was interesting

King began to regain consciousness. His still hazy vision made out the imposing figure of his source of this nightmare. “You, you…”
“Silence. I have rescued you.”
“You have killed me. You knew that death was impossible for me, so you have created a horrid life! I have nothing to return to – not Perim and not Earth.”
“I created your path to success. You have nowhere to run – the Overworlders hate you and the Underworlders hate you. Both sides have witnesses that claim your betrayal. Chaor is the prime for the Underworld and Maxxor for the Overworld. And after the Mipedians and Danians hear why those two tribes hate you, they won’t be any more trusting.”
“I know I was given free will, but I cannot control others, and you will remove any other options I have. You will just say I can do what I want, but I can’t do anything else. I am smarter than that. What must I do to raise Aa’une?”
“Hua Hwa Hua ha!” The joy-filled yet dreadful, sinister laugh filled the air. “A new reign has begun. The beginning of power is at hand. Our worlds will be purged of their insolence. Your majesty has come to his crown. All hail the king!”
