If we run something like dueling network we should be fine. I not exactly sure how they got past legal, burr I assume we can do something similar.

I don't think DN has ads. That's why they can do it. They don't charge or make money on the site so there's no real infringement. If we were to charge for virtual packs, it'd have to be new cards that we created.

So the plan is: download the cothica onto a flash drive and delete it from the web(making it inaccessible), put the drive into a water-tight box, and put the box in water.

There is no possible way to fit the cothica on a simple hard drive. How many petabytes do you have access to?

Activity has really dropped...

Well.. maybe the community is finally dying.

In all honesty though, we have had a drought in new topics. Topics only last so long, and we even have a tendency to create new conversations on topics that discuss something else(this is probably because with a small community we feel so conversational).

So, in order to see another spike in activity, I think people need to make some new topics.

I was away for the weekend as well; forgot to mention that.

I'm always around, just usually in the background.

Well I apologize for my absence; I explained it a bit on my Card Template topic, but I've been away due to school reasons. Every week it's something new I have to deal with and I can't seem to get a break! The work I had put in to those card templates was mostly done over Christmas break, so I had time. I might be more active during Spring Break when that rolls around.

Also I would personally love to try to set up some sort of online battle site or something (I believe you guys were discussing that earlier in the topic) but my knowledge of Javascript only goes so far...

My main problem is, no one is on at the same time. I propose arranging a weekly meet up, and talk for old times sake.


I would assume that weekends would be most flexible for most people. That being said, there is no reason we can't all have a 3hr chat window. Show up, talk, and go on about your life afterwards. I'd like to think we're not so lazy as to not even be able to pull this off.

I am just mad busy though... although I can manage to be on at nights, I am usually playing games, so chatting would be hard

I'd be up for it I guess. Chaotic just has nothing to talk about. No news. None of us set aside time to build decks and post them. Nothing we can do to change it.

A slow game makes for slow forums. :\

Yehh i can see this forumn dying Like we need new posts because I can be gone for months and maybe like 1 new post has occurred with like 2 replies... Its kind of disheartening. Sadly timezone issues make it really hard for me to be on for the chats

Cards sell well on eBay? That's really interesting. I've been off trying to do a bunch of fundraising research for my school. Maybe I'll post a topic in GC so you all can find out how to help without actually giving up any money. I'd love it if you could give up money, don't get me wrong, but I'm researching passive fundraising so that we can recruit anyone and not just people directly involved in the school.
