Chaotic Card Templates

King, I'm trying to understand why mugics would be difficult to do. Even with full art background. It seems that mugics have a off-white gradient text area with opacity.  It would seem to me to just look for cards with a black background in the text area and take samples of the starting gradient and the center gradient. Redraw the mugic symbol on top and the rest of the card would be the same as what you've already done.


Since I'm not actually good at PS, I guess I can't speak for myself haha.

I'm a big fan of your templates and I noticed a lack of mugic and locations so I figured I could fix at least one of those I'm converting your creature templates into mugic ones and while things notes on the side I can't really do they seem pretty dece

here take this too I messed around with the colors on one of the templates till this happened swapped out some symbols and mission accomplished now you can make all the tribless guys you want whoo.

I did some edits on the mugic mainly making the code bar longer (oops) and messing with the text box transparency for the nth time. I think 80% is gonna be about right though. I also realized my templates still have all the tribe symbols on them instead of the mugic symbol, oops. I'll fix that next.

the location template however... not really gonna be as easy so I think I'll do that some other time.

I'm still working on tweaking the mugic to make them look flawless but in the meantime go make some locations

alright I changed all the mugics to have the mugic symbol now and I resized the location one so the picture box is the correct size

Looks good. But the mugic symbols themselves should be cleaned better. Most noticeable on the Mipedian.

I'm having trouble opening these in GIMP 2. Is there another option for me?

EDIT: The PNG version is working for me, but there are only the Tribal Creatures available. Is there any way I could help in getting the rest of the pictures PNG ready?

I see you were busy without me! Sorry I never got around to finishing the Tribeless! Although, Chiodosin, your version looks spectacular! I can provide a high-res background icon for the description box if you'd like. I was in the process of working on it, but I sort of forgot. ^^;

Also similarly with the location card, I have a high-res location icon if you want!

I might tweak the colors of the location card just a little bit, if that's alright! Maybe add a few effects here and there. It's super good, don't get me wrong! Just a few things I might adjust, with your permission of course!

These can be used for whatever you'd like! They're high-res, and purposefully left blank so that you can recolor them or add whatever effects you'd like!

of course do whatever ya want with em I mostly just took your templates and moved the pieces around or put color filters on em I'm not an expert so go ahead.

Hey all,
I decided to randomly check up on this thread again and realized just how terrible those pictures of my cards are. Picky... you idiot, you didn't do those cards justice. Sorry about that!

If anyone is still interested in seeing those, let me know and i'll dig them out for a second and better done photo op!
